Our Certifications – Responsibility & Transparency
BioPetFood stands for pet food of tested quality. A large part of our product range is certified according to the Swiss Organic Guidelines – and many products also bear the renowned Bio Suisse Bud label.
Organic Switzerland (Legal Basis)
The Swiss Organic Farming Ordinance (SR 910.18) provides the basis for us to import and distribute organic products. It ensures that minimum standards for production, processing, and control are met.
Bio Suisse – The Bud
Products with the Bio Suisse Bud go a step further: here, stricter requirements apply than in the statutory organic standard. The Bud stands for holistic sustainability, ecological cycles, and fair partnerships along the entire supply chain.
And our non-organic products?
We also deliberately carry a selected assortment that is not organic-certified – for example, special products or supplements that round out our offering. In doing so, we consistently pay attention to quality, origin, and transparency. Our basic principles also apply here: Act responsibly, enable healthy animal nutrition, and live sustainable values.
Why this is important to us
Certifications are not a formality for us but an expression of our attitude. They stand for professionalism, reliability, and our conviction that animals deserve high-quality food. At the same time, we communicate openly when products are not organic – because honesty is part of quality for us.
