How does the parasite protection work?

The structure of the mineral particles is the decisive factor: according to the manufacturer, the fine components in particular attack the outer shell of the parasites upon contact. Additionally, they deprive them of moisture, causing them to dry out. The bedding thus combines floor maintenance with physical parasite control.

The difference to bathing sand

Bedding: Fine and coarser components for the stable floor; can also be used as a coarser sand bath. Bathing sand: Powder-fine diabase for a separate bathing area and targeted dusting of stable cracks. Both use the same mineral-based principle of action.

Application

• Standalone: Spread to a depth of 3–5 cm.
• Underlayer: Cover the floor completely, then add organic bedding on top.
• Sand bath: Provide to a depth of 10–20 cm.

Remove soiled areas and replenish.
